Washington Care Academy

Washington Care Academy is a hybrid online DSHS-approved Home Care Aide Training program with hands-on skills practice and demonstrations conducted at an approved DSHS training facilities or one of our approved partnered skills community instructors. All our video training is designed utilizing a software that is interactive and tracks analytics. We are able to measure learning retention in understanding how well students grasp materials with embedded quizzes. We use DSHS approved curriculum. Our 75 hour Home Care Aide Training is DSHS approved.

Washington Care Academy owner, Faduma Mursal, RN, BSN started the company in 2018 in recognizing the need for an affordable online option for DSHS approved training. Faduma Mursal has been a Registered Nurse for 8+ years and has trained countless personal care assistants and care givers as a Nurse supervisor trainer.

Our goal as a Home Care Aide/Nurse Aide training program is to create an excellent environment in which to train Home Care Aides and Nurse Aides. Our training method is suited to meet today’s demand. We will strive to provide a place of excellence for students to learn and practice the entire required state approved curriculum for caregivers.
