Skills Lab

Governor Inslee directed all schools within Washington State to cease in-person classes as of March 17, 2020 through at least May 31, 2020.  This includes all public and private institutions that provide any type of career and technical training as well as degree granting institutions.

Institutes of Higher Learning and Private Vocational Schools that have previously been permitted to provide online classes may continue doing so, and are unaffected by this order.  Additional information can be found at this webpage:  https://www.wtb.wa.gov/private-career-schools/closure/

Skills Training Location:

We have partnered with two community instructors’ skills locations where students will complete their hands-on, in-person skills training. The availability of skills training days will be posted online once students reach the skills section. Skills training is held at least once per month giving students plenty of opportunity for selections.

On The Job Training:

For On The Job Training, We have partnered with approved OJT skills facilities to conduct hands-on skills training at the facility where the student is currently working. If your facility is not approved to offer On the Job Training (OJT) or you are not sure if your facility is approved, please refrain from purchasing this course and contact the Director of Training Faduma Mursal for confirmation at 206-306-6588.
